Jake Murphy
Podiatrist
Growing up on the Northern Beaches, Jake has always lived an active lifestyle and developed a strong appreciation for movement, sport and community. His involvement in football, cricket, surfing and running, along with his own experiences managing injuries, sparked his interest in podiatry and a desire to help others stay active and pain free at every stage of life.
Jake graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Podiatry. Throughout his clinical placements, he gained experience across both hospital and private practice settings, developing skills in general podiatry care, diabetic foot assessments, chronic disease management and musculoskeletal treatment. These experiences strengthened his interest in delivering thorough, patient-centred care and building strong foundations in evidence-based practice.
While Jake has a keen interest in sports-related injuries and biomechanics, he is equally passionate about all areas of general podiatry — from routine foot care and nail surgery to preventative care and maintaining long-term mobility. He values taking the time to listen to patients, educate them about their condition, and create practical treatment plans tailored to their lifestyle and goals.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys staying active, playing football and cricket, surfing when he can, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys playing guitar and making music in his downtime.
